Prayer

Sunday morning a small group meets in Nisbet Hall at 9:10 am. to pray very specifically for the services of the day. Others are welcome to join.

Others meet every Wednesday (7:00-8:00 pm.). This is a special chance to pray together for our church and the broader community. Often they have a time of singing and a brief message. Contact: Bill Shellington, 416-467-8399

Another group meets every Thursday at McClintock Manor to pray for our church missionary family and the work they are doing here and around the world. Contact Audrey Lawrence, 416-406-5513.

We also have a prayer chain of people who are able to pray on the spot for the emergency needs of our church family and who are willing to pass the messages along to others. If you have an emergency prayer need please call the church office, 416-466-3040 and we will activate the prayer chain immediately… or if you would like to be a part of our Emergency Prayer Chain let us know, and we will add you to the list.

Our REALgroups also have a prayer focus component as they pray for one another. Be sure to check out the REALgroup pamphlet for the time and place of a group near you.

Once a month we produce a Prayer Prompter to provide a focus for the many prayer groups in our church. Weekly updates are provided as necessary. Copies are always available at the Ministry Desk but if you would like to receive these via email contact Judy in the church office, 416-466-3040 with your email address and she will add you to the list.
