KINGDOM KIDS CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

We are blessed at Calvary Church to have so many children.  Our children’s wing is full of life and we make children’s ministry a priority.  You will find at any of our children’s events, a dedicated team of adults who are excited about Jesus ready to welcome your child. All our children’s volunteers are carefully screened and we follow Plan to Protect.  

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL

We have Sunday school from nursery to grade 5.  Children will join the service for the first 10 minutes and then head to their classes together.  We also offer a parent/tot room where parents can watch the service livestream.

AWANA KIDS CLUB

Awana (children 3 years old up to grade 6) is an exciting opportunity for children to benefit spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally from weekly meetings. Our Awana program meets Sunday nights from 6:00 to 7:15.  

Our first night for 2025/2026 will be Sept 14.

DAYCAMP

At True North summer daycamp 2025, we will be exploring Alaska and all its beauty.  True North is filled with awesome Bible learning experiences kids see, hear and touch!  Sciencey-fun experiments (like making frost!) will help us understand Jesus is our true north.  Active games, unforgettable songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the stand-out activities that will make our mornings a highlight of the whole summer!

For children registered for full days, the fun continues in the afternoons with fun children’s entertainers who will lead us in exciting shows and hands-on activities. Trips to Withrow park and a craft or sport elective will round out our days.

July 7 to 11
For children entering JK this fall, to those who are currently in grade 5

Two options: (both include daily snacks and a pizza lunch on Friday)

Mornings only – 9:00 to 12:00; $50
Full days (for children entering grade 1 and older) – 9:00 to 4:00; $100
