Missions We Support

Supporting the work of missionaries and mission organizations has always been an important part of Calvary Church’s overall mission and vision. In the 2021-2022 fiscal year, Calvary Church allocated 20% of its overall budget towards missions.

Here are some of the missions that we support:

A Visit with Mrs. G is a radio ministry broadcasting Bible stories for children (and the young at heart) all over the world.

Adam House, located in Toronto, provides housing, support, and advocacy for refugees.

AMG International is a global ministry connecting people with the gospel while meeting their deepest spiritual and physical needs.

AIM sends missionaries who reach out to the ends of the world with the good news of Jesus.

Alpha-Omega Christian Ministries seeks to share the Gospel with the Greek-speaking community through personal evangelism, television, and video.

Church Planting Ministries is committed to planting churches and helping communities plant churches worldwide.

CTEN is an interdenominational missionary co-operative serving 656 missionaries in 68 nations.

Crossworld is a Christian missions organization of disciple-makers from all professions bringing God’s love to life in the world’s least-reached marketplaces.

Working with local churches, Faith Mission Canada is an evangelistic ministry focussed on rural areas of Canada.

The mission of Global Gates is “multiplying disciples to the ends of the earth through Canadian gateway cities.” Missionaries serve in Canadian cities that are cosmopolitan and host people from all over the world.

The mission of Interserve is “bringing life and hope to the peoples of Asia and the Arab World.” Equipping local pastors and leaders, Bible translation, medical care, online media campaigns, job training, construction and care for refugees are just some of the ways that Interserve reaches out.

Pioneers’ purpose is “to go into regions where few people have ever had the opportunity to hear of Jesus and His great salvation, and tell the story of His amazing love”.

The mission of Power to Change is “helping people know Jesus and experience his power to change the world”.

The vision of SIM is “to see a witness to Christ’s love where He is least known, disciples of Jesus expressing God’s love in their communities, and Christ-centred churches among all peoples”.

By seeing “the hope and potential in every young person,” YFC offers hundreds of programs at the local level in communities across the country.
